Tera Hafermann, a 26 year old single mother, was unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukemia at the end of March 2018. Tera began chemo therapy soon after her diagnosis. A couple of weeks into treatment she had a bad reaction to the chemo, resulting in a massive seizure and stroke. For several days Tera's situation was truly life or death. After a week in ICU with a team of doctors at her side, Tera began the long road to recovery after her stroke. Tera has since spent several months relearning how to walk and regaining her independence. During her rehab, Tera's cancer went into remission. Unfortunately, just weeks ago, she learned that the cancer was back. Tera has endured a lot over the past 6 months and it looks as though the journey is not over yet, she will be going through a bone marrow transplant. Please help us support her in this difficult journey. Tera is currently unable to work due to her ongoing treatment.
