Overview

Robert Vaillancourt, a 44-year-old Navy Veteran, husband to Wendy and father of Izaiah(19) and Genavieve(17) , was diagnosed with Angiosarcoma Cancer in June of 2016. The doctors told Robert that this was a very rare and aggressive type of cancer. There was no definite cure or treatment that was guaranteed to work. They started a very strong hospitalized chemotherapy regime in August of 2016. In October, they moved on to radiation.
At this point the cancer was shrinking and responding well to treatments and in December he underwent surgery at Froedtert to remove the tumor and several of his ribs on the right side. He started recovery in January 2017 and things seemed to be going well. In May of 2017 the Doctors confirmed that the cancer was back and growing rapidly.
He is currently starting a stronger chemo to see if it will stop the growth of the cancer since the last chemo did not work.
Roberts medical bills keep growing as treatments continue. He has had to be off work a lot due to sickness and fatigue from surgery and chemo. Roberts wife, Wendy, is providing the main source of income for their family during this time. Robert is relying heavily on his faith in God and the love of his family and friends. He is a fighter who refuses to give up and is an inspiration to those who know him. His family is praying and hoping for a cure. Your financial help can help ease the burden on Robert and his family and allow him to focus on his health and a hopeful recovery.
