Out of darkness. Dan Schwalenberg was diagnosed with a severe case of Chronic Lyme Disease affecting his brain and heart. His lack of health forced him to leave work in October 2015 to present. He was confined to his home for 10 months; 5 months living in complete darkness and little sound. Dan suffered cycles of severe disabling symptoms. In March 2016, he began strong antibiotics, transitioning into weekly treatments of Ultra-Violet Light Infusion Therapy. Through the Grace of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the amazing family God has given him, Dan is slowly recovering. The Lyme Disease Specialist does eventually predict 100% recovery. Dan's previous and continuing medical expenses have created a substantial financial crisis. Dan has been denied by both private Short Term Disability and Federal Social Security benefits. His treatments, which will last through the remainder of 2017, are not covered by insurance.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated to offset the accumulating medical and living expenses to allow Dan a sustained path of recovery.
