Jackie (Gassen) Clapp is a 36 year-old single mother who suffers from chronic Lyme disease. She has been sick since she was a small child and, because of this debilitating disease, has been unable to work for most of her life. She began treatment for chronic Lyme disease in 2012. Chronic Lyme is very difficult to treat and, because of the length and severity of her illness,it has infiltrated all of her organs, including her heart, bones, brain and nervous system. Her current treatments have failed to put her into remission. There are alternative treatments available, which have been successful for other Lyme sufferers, however they are extremely expensive and may require long distance traveling and therefore are out of her reach. This disease without proper treatment can be fatal. With your help, she will be able to explore these alternative treatments and hopefully put this horrible disease into remission so that she can have improved quality of life and be the mother that she strives to be.
The “Jackie’s Fishin for Remission” Fund will help assist with medical and living expenses.
